This blog will provide you with updates on the project of physical and virtual exhibition Images of Humanist Childhood that is being prepared by researchers in literature, linguistics, civilisation and philosophy, members of the 3L.AM Laboratory.
The aim of the project is to create an exhibition that will combine clarity and simplicity of the output with a familiarity with scholarly sources. A great number of old prints are now available online in facsimile form and thus can be read in their original version. We would like to highlight a rich regional heritage, to illustrate the European dimension of the subject and to present artefacts, personalities and fictional universes linked to education and pedagogy between the 16th and 18th centuries.
This blog will offer access to news, on-going research, and sources related to humanist heritage in the context of pedagogy and education, especially in the region of Pays de la Loire.
