Dr Fabien Lacouture

Former member of the research laboratory HiCSA (Histoire Culturelle et Sociale de l’Art) at the University Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne, I am a lecturer at the University of Lille 3 Charles de Gaulle. I defended my PhD thesis (“The Child in Northern and Central Italian Painting, 14th to 16th centuries”) in May 2017 at the University Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne. I am specialized in Renaissance Italian art and in the representations of children and families in medieval and Renaissance Italy and Europe. My research is at the crossroad of art history, history and anthropology.
